Matthew Boutte is a lover of many things, among them books. Books about business, nature, art, craft, woodworking, history, science, religion, and biographies are high on the list. This blog is a labor of love because what’s the use of reading a book if it doesn’t make you think and engage with others?
Matt spends his days as a finance executive with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and retail bank treasury and balance sheet management, working in banks from $5 – 85 billion in assets. He also engages in consulting for churches, non-profits, and small businesses under BCM Advisory Services.
Over the years he has gained extensive experience serving in lay leadership roles at Episcopal churches in the dioceses of Texas, Western Louisiana, and West Texas. Matt has a BBA in Finance and an MBA, both from the University of Houston. Matt is also a member of Mensa.
Matt and his family reside in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX nestled between San Antonio and Boerne.
Finally, Matt is a follower of Christ, intensely proud of his family, fiercely loyal to his friends, curious about the world, and a lover of books and good wine. He also tries not to take himself too seriously, but fails at this often.
