Jason Myers is Executive Director of EcoTheo Collective and Editor-in-Chief of EcoTheo Review. A National Poetry Series finalist, his work has appeared in The Believer, Image, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. He is a candidate for holy orders in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas and lives in Bastrop with his wife, Allison Grace Myers, and their son Robinson.
“I’m burdened by stories that are not my own that tell me what my stories mean.”
In this deep, meaningful conversation we talk with Jason about his poetry and his vocation and how he came to understand them. We also talk a lot about the EcoTheo Review and the numerous initiatives they have underway. There’s a lot to unpack here; a lot to ruminate on over time. I’m grateful to Jason for his willingness to be so open and I’m grateful to you for reading and listening.
